Gifts of art are always special and if your special person likes a particular artist's work, then that makes it even more special!!! The countdown is on!! I've been wrapping Christmas orders (always a happy job!) and realise that there isn't long before delivery orders need to be in!!
If any of you are a little stuck for ideas, I do have a few suggestions!!
My drinks pieces are hugely popular as gifts, for both men and women. There's quite a selection of booze to choose from, so hopefully their favourite tipple is amongst the collection! Here's a few from the 'Drinks Cabinet'!
All of my prints come mounted, framed or as box canvas and that's worth bearing in mind if you're sending them in the post.
Just so you know! I'm always more than happy to send artwork on a client's behalf with a handwritten greeting card - not only a good idea when time is running out but always handy with our busy lives! (especially in December!)
People love artwork of places they know and that have special meaning to them. Most of my 'special places' are around Devon and Cornwall, although I do have some London pieces and of course there is the ever growing World Collection!!
A few pieces from the SouthWest Showcase!
I am always happy to sign the back of a print with a personal message too! I'm often asked to do this and love adding that personal touch.
Ladies love flowers!! Simple! With a piece of art, particularly featuring favourite blooms, a bouquet lives forever. My cheery vibrant florals are a very popular choice.
This is 'Sweet Summer', chosen as a Christmas gift and about to be wrapped and sent on it's merry way.
If you can't make your mind up or not sure what they'd like, a gift voucher is always an option. Recipients have a year to choose and it can be spent online or at one of my exhibitions. Visitors are always welcome in my studio too, where I keep a stock of artwork. Any amount can be chosen for a voucher. Simply email me and I can arrange this for you (online or postal).
A very special gift and one that does take a bit of planning I'm afraid! I undertake around 5-6 commissions a year and do require 3-6 months notice BUT always ask if you have a commissioned piece in mind. Commissioned artwork is very personal and unique and most definitely a keepsake to treasure. I am always happy to meet and discuss, or speak / email if you're not nearby.
'Cape Town', a commission I completed earlier this year.
Finally, please do get in touch if you would prefer a customised size print or with any special requests. I'm always happy to oblige if I can!
Please note December art deliveries are free of charge - please enter HAPPYCHRISTMAS at the checkout. They also get festive gift wrap too!! (see the cover photo!!)
