I am SO chuffed that the one and only art show I'm exhibiting at this year is only days away!!!
Into The Light is a collective charity exhibition featuring the work of eleven SouthWest artists and I am delighted to be part of this.
Here we all are!!
This exhibition is being hosted by our wonderful framer, Sean James, of Artframe Solution, Faraday Business Park in Plymouth. It opens on October 3rd and runs until October 18th.
The exhibition is supporting two very worthy local causes - St Luke's Hospice in Plymouth and Livewire Youth Support Service in Saltash.
The gallery is spacious and airy and we will be ensuring that any visitors will feel safe and secure. The weekends will be operating on an appointment system so please please email me if you'd like to book a viewing slot of 45 mins. Plenty of time to enjoy the wonderful collection of creations and well, something to distract our minds from these peculiar times methinks. An artist will be there to greet you and answer any questions you may have.
There are a few places available on the preview day (Friday 2nd) 12-8. Again, please do get in touch if you're interested in being one of the first to see the work on display.
A little teaser of what to expect at the show!
For those of you who aren't so local, a virtual exhibition will be available to view online. I will be posting it on my blog but you can also follow the Into The Light social media pages...
There will also be a grand raffle of art prizes to be won - donations from all of the artists. Definitely worth entering!! Again, I will post the details of how to purchase raffle tickets if you don't live nearby. I'll also post the prizes!!
We are all so excited about this show. There's been a lot of uncertainty in the art world regarding exhibitions but with all the necessary precautions in place, we are good to go! I think we can all agree that we all could do with something to look forward to!!
I have three new original pieces going into this show and no, sorry, can't reveal until the day.
PLEASE let me know if you'd like to see the preview catalogue of artwork on Friday 2nd. All I need is your email address or alternatively check back here on the 2nd!
