In case you were wondering, this piece of work in progress is the Royal William Yard in Plymouth! Brewhouse Building to be precise!
This historic building is part of what was the major victualling depot of the Royal Navy. Very grand and very beautiful buildings. The site has now been converted to swanky residences, shops and restaurants. Two reasons for creating this - it's one of my favourite areas of the city and I love recreating historic buildings. This piece has a whole lot more on the way including boats, the Cremyll ferry which runs to Mount Edgecumbe as well as the general hustle bustle (meaning people!) that is associated with this vibrant area.
I've been doing a little up cycling with this one! Can you spot the plimsoll or to be more precise the preloved Converse pump!
Look out for the finished piece - not long now!
