Time for some sunshine colour in the art studio!
Having not felt too well for the last couple of days, I decided to brighten the studio up with a colour pop from the garden! I saw this bunch of honesty and couldn't resist. Whilst digging around for a vase, I came across this jug I hand painted a few years ago! Perfect combo! The icing on the cake was when I arranged it in my studio, I realised the picture behind it (Sweet Summer) matched my arrangement too. It's not very often I achieve such effortless studio styling!!
I would love to say it matched the weather outside too!!!!
We all need a bit of colour right now and I don't know about you but colours such as this always lift my mood! Bright happy pops of sunshine to remind us that summer is on it's way and there are many good times ahead.
I am clearly drawn to this colour palette! I don't even remember planting these honesty bulbs in my garden and I had completely forgotten about the painted jug but seeing Sweet Summer reminded me that I naturally gravitate towards this colour palette!
'Sweet Summer' from my Nature collection, is definitely one of my sweetest and most vibrant floral pieces, reminding me of warm carefree days, just taking in the scent of summer and enjoying Mother Nature's fine company.
Summer is not far away!! Keep that in mind. For now though I will enjoy the mini little summer I have created in my studio which is actually perfect for the commission I am currently working on - a secret commission but based on a special summer day for one family in particular.
