A pop of tropical colour! My love of colour and texture shines through this piece. I've used a rich blend of silks and velvety greens for the lush tropical flora and fauna.  Studying tropical flowers and varieties of hibiscus was a lot of fun research behind this piece.  If you look carefully you'll see some small sea shells scattered around too... 

Sailing boats on the horizon give this piece distance and perspective, taking you into the piece where hopefully you will stay and enjoy the escape.
