Spring In Canvas

I’ve been promising new canvas prints for a while - and here they finally are. It’s been a long time since I produced canvas versions of my prints - partly because I was never fully happy with their presentation and also because only certain images really lend themselves to this style. I’m absolutely delighted with these and because they’re printed on fabric, it makes them quite hard to distinguish from an original textile piece. Here’s a close up of ‘Bluebells And Friends’ - a spring themed floral I created a couple of years ago.

Rather than presenting in box canvas, I’m experimenting with framing - or should I say my framer is experimenting! Here are a few examples.

It’s not all just floral either! I’ve also been playing with seascapes too.

I also love the fact that no glass is required. The canvases are varnished and because they are superior Giclee printing quality, they won’t fade either.

I’ve just produced a few so far and you can see them all in the Studio Stock section of my website. This new collection has proved particularly popular with people that aren’t close to the studio or are just unable to visit at the moment.

It’s annual stocktake time of year so I’m actually updating this collection while stocktaking (2 studios!!!) so do keep an eye out for new additions. I’m finding little bits of treasures as I’m trawling through, including original pieces!!!

Now, back to the art of multi-tasking….
