Yes, Partygate! A government scandal! Why not! I couldn’t resist creating this satirical illustration in textile art - the material was too good to waste (excuse the pun). I’ve created quirky bottles and brands of liquor to suit the infamous theme. There are subtle and not so subtle references throughout. I was particularly pleased to find House of Commons bench green leather! I like to think of this piece as a period of our history, immortalised in textile art.
