Create your very own piece of artwork while learning the fundamental skills and techniques of textile art and free motion embroidery and applique, Unlock your creative potential in one of my one day workshops or develop specific skills in a 1/2 day session.

On my full day workshops you will create a piece of art and I will guide you through the entire process. I also cover core principles like perspective, composition, lighting, shading, and colour theory - so you’ll take away skills and knowledge to continue creating and developing at your own pace.

Classes are small, relaxed and fun. They are held in a spacious studio in Plymouth, filled with fabric samples, trimmings, paints and an array of tools for embellishing, adding layers and creating depth. As well as creating your own piece of art, you will learn how textiles can be applied to so many other art and craft genres.

I am a qualified adult tutor who welcomes students of all ability levels, offering supportive and accessible instruction. I will guide you through every step as needed! I also run advanced classes for those who wish to further extend their skill and knowledge base.
