The Big Reveal!!

My exhibition, Into The Wild’, is in full swing at Wildwood Arts in Yelverton. !! Thank you to all those that have managed to visit so far. The pieces are on display until Saturday 18th October. I know many of you are too far away to visit so here they are!! The entire collection. I know it’s not the same as seeing them in the flesh.

‘Into The Wild’ - the signature piece of the exhibition. A stretch of autumnal moorland with a handsome pheasant enjoying the view…

‘Brambly Bush’. An autumn hedgerow, brimming with seasonal textures and a couple of visitors!

‘Wandering Through’ A handsome curlew wandering through a heather filled moor…

‘Miss Egret’. I love spotting these adorable waders in Dartmoor’s wetlands.

‘Wispy Wood’ Inspired by the ancient enchanting Wiseman’s wood. My version :)

‘On The Rocks’ A Dartmoor rockery, created by nature. And me!)

‘Mr Heron’ Inspired by the many herons I’ve spotted this summer swooping over the Dartmoor pools. This chap is brimming with attitude!

‘Cream Tea’ Tavistock Abbey is the home of the cream tea. I couldn’t resist recreating one. of my own…

‘Lunchtime Pint’ - A Dartmoor exhibition would not be complete without a local pint!

‘Happy Clapper’ Ancient clapper bridges are a quintessential feature of Dartmoor. I couldn’t resist a vibrant mandarin duck - yes they do also frequent Dartmoor!

‘Two For Joy’. A couple of inquisitive magpies perched on a moorland fence.

‘Autumn Birch’. I love creating silver birch woods. This is the first one featuring a pair of handsome goldfinches.

‘A Pair Of Great Tits’ Two adorable tits and a whole lot of blossom..

‘Fifty Shades Of Green’ My favourite colour celebrating the adorable shades of greens of the countryside and of course the endless layers of texture.

‘Seedheads’ Adorable autumnal skeletal cow parsley. It takes on a whole new beauty at this time of the year….

PLEASE NOTE THE EXHBITION IS OPEN THURSDAY TO SATURDAY 10.30 - 4.30 PM. Appointments outside of these times are possible - please contact the gallery to arrange.
