Seascape Release!

The sun is shining and it seems the perfect time to release my new series of sunny seascapes!

Seascapes always feel like sunshine to me. While I’ve loved spending the last few months focusing on florals and nature, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed returning to the coast and building this new collection. I spend most afternoons at this beautiful place near to where I live - Firestone Bay in Plymouth. I feel so blessed to live so close to this. There’s something about the light on the water and the calm of the sea that never gets old. It’s one of my constant sources of inspiration.

Firestone Bay in Plymouth. My dog walking spot!!!

So onto the reveal!!!

‘Hideaways’

It’s been a while since I created some of these beauties!! Adorable beach huts on a sunlit shore. Pure seaside charm. For more details on this framed original, please click here.

‘ Sand, Sea & African Lillies’

I adore agapanthus and I especially love seeing it by the coast. These glorious pops of colour are abundant along the SouthWest coast, especially on the Isles Of Scilly. Such a magnificent flower. More details here

‘Sandbanks’

A calm coastal scene featuring beach huts on a layered textured landscape. A picture of seaside tranquility. A joy to create. More details on this framed original here

All of these originals are on display at Gallery 360, located at Faraday Park in Plymouth, if you’re nearby and would like to see them in the flesh.

Well, that’s the series for now!! While this glorious sun keeps shining, the seascapes will keep coming. The beauty of seascape art is they give you the joy of the beach all year round. The happy holiday memories, the joyful escapes and the energy of the ocean - captured. For me, nothing beats it.
